Sociology graduates can face hurdles in finding support while they complete their degrees and in planning their careers or finding work, as they do not know where to look or whom to turn to for mentorship. The issues of career-planning, job-seeking and the precarious nature of employment are central to the long-term future of the discipline of sociology.

The Sociology At Work website provides an opportunity for networking through our online forum and we also offer advice on finishing a degree and career planning via this website.  The resources available through this website are intended to support the careers of sociology graduates at various levels (undergraduate and postgraduate) and to ensure that our students are more aware of the various work opportunities available to them.

If you have content that you would like to submit to this website that you feel might be useful for sociology students, please get in contact with us.
