Are you a sociologist living outside North America, the UK and Australia? The editors of Working Notes, the online journal of Sociology at Work, would like to feature a couple of applied sociologists (that is, sociologists who are not academics) who are living in a country where English is not the primary language. Whether you live in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South or Central America, we would like to hear a little bit about you and your work. If you would like your profile to appear in our next edition of Working Notes, please email us: workingnotes@sociologyatwork.org

Working Notes is the free online publication hosted by the Sociology At Work website. Working Notes aims to provide a platform for non-academic sociologists to share their experiences and expertise with a broad audience.

The Working Notes editors would like to include a short article about applied sociologists working in diverse nations. This will involve answering a couple of questions about what type of work you do, how you found your way into your job, and how your sociological background helps you do your job. We will print your answers and your picture online in the next edition of Working Notes, currently scheduled to be published at the end of the year, in December 2010.

If you have any questions or if you would like to have your work featured in Working Notes, please email the editors: workingnotes@sociologyatwork.org
