Coming to The Australian Sociological Association Conference? We want to hear from you!

Looking forward to the TASA Conference being held at the University of Newcastle from Tuesday 29th November to Thursday 1st December 2011. Alan Scott, Convenor of the Applied Sociology Thematic Group, would like to know how many of you will be attending. Please email Alan whether you will be willing to attend the conference or whether you would be willing to meet up with other Applied Sociologists in Newcastle.

1.    Attend the TASA Conference 2011.

• And if so would you be willing to stay on for an Applied Sociology get-together on the 3rd or 4th December?

2.    If you will NOT be attending the conference:

• Would you be willing to meet in Newcastle for an Applied Sociology get-together on the 3rd or 4th December?

If we can get at least some of us together, perhaps we can begin to consolidate our ideas about what being an Applied Sociologist has to offer society and how we get the message out to the community.
